The Bill Graham Menorah Shamash Society
Please join us Today!
We are a network of people who do good deeds, mitzvahs, and acts of kindness to spread the light of love in the world.
We use Bill Graham's name because many of us have been touched or inspired by Bill's life. Bill was a righteous man who helped many people and made our local and global world a better place. Many of us are involved in supporting the Bill Graham Foundation and the Bill Graham Menorah Project.
We use the word "Shamash" to refer to the center light of the menorah. This is the light that ignites all the others, spreading the light and pushing back the darkness. We are an ecumenical group of many faiths and traditions that wishes well to all beings everywhere.
We call ourselves a society because we are a group, a tribe, a network of people that is united in our intention to help people and influence our larger society with good actions. We know how to spread the light of love with hugs as well as with world class productions. One of our initial group activities is to produce an annual lunch in San Francisco that will honor those who are doing good in the world.
